Oh I Love Vacations!

Well, Zach and I just arrived home from a 4 day vacation in Mexico with my side of the family. We loved ever minute of it. We desperately needed a vacation. It has been a really hectic and crazy couple of months. We spent our days laying by the pool and playing on the beach. Zach and I got the much needed color to our skins. I was beginning to think I married the "White Stallion" but now I can officially say I married the "Semi-Brown More Like Burned Stallion". We had quite the interesting ride down to Rocky Point. On our way there we ran into a nice rain storm that kept us for 2 hours parked on the road waiting for a "temporary" river running through the road. Instead of a 4 hour drive it turned out to be 6. My uncle Bryan owns a business that does screen printing and embroidery of T-shirts and he made all the family members T-shirts. On the shirts it said "BD AS ONE" B for Barron and D for Deering. He even made up a really fun and cute hand shake we had to do to get our T-shirts. If you only knew my uncle Bryan this is so something he would do. He was very proud and he loved to surprise all of us. We had an awesome view from our condo. It was so humid that as soon as you walked out on the balcony my camera lens fogged up so I have tried to download the best pictures. Annie, I am sorry I am no photographer. We had such a fun time and we loved spending time with our family. We don't get to see the Barrons too often so there was a lot of catching up and reliving some memories. It will be interesting trying to get back in the swing of things.

Family

I'm trying really hard to be good at this whole blogging thing. I am really happy to be able to tell my family to check my blog for new updates. Today was a special day. Annie's new baby girl Miriam was blessed. Family means so much to me and I was really glad that we could all be together today. It has been really nice having almost everyone here. Mary was the only one missing. It was also my little sister Kaytlyn's 11th birthday. I can't believe how old and mature she is getting. She got her first "bra" if you can even call it that. I thought my brothers were going to pass right out in the living room. I think we are all amazed at how big she is getting. It crazy to think that we are all growing up and becoming more independent. I'm so thankful the memories I have had of my siblings while we were and are still growing up. It is times like these that I am thankful for my families being so close and that we can share special events like baby blessings and birthdays with each other.

Finally a few minutes!

Well after seeing my sister in law Annie's blog, I was convinced Zach and I needed to start one. I think Annie has convinced a few family members to start one. Now I have a few minutes to finally post something. I've been teaching a musical theater class to children all summer and I can finally say I'M DONE!!! I love teaching but I am really glad to be done. I now only have a few weeks to recuperate before I start back up. Zach and I are really excited to be spending the next week laying on the beach in Mexico.
