My dad is a man that truly supports his state sporting events. I can remember going to Suns, Rattlers and Diamondback games all the time because he was a season ticket holder. This year my dad decided to be a season ticket holder for ASU football. He is an alumni of ASU and he really supports his school. When my dad told me he had season tickets I told him Zach and I would be delighted to take those off his hands at any time. Well, last week he gave them to my brother Kyle. So after a bit of roughing up, my dad called on Friday with tickets for Zach and I and two friends. So immediately we called the Porters. They are really good friends that we met in our ward and we love spending time with them. The tickets we had were not right next to each other so Lauren and I sat two rows behind Zach and Jason. I wish I would have taken a picture of Jason's face when we arrived to our seats. He was so excited and turned around and said "Im on the front row!"Lauren and I chatted most of the time while Zach and Jason were concentrating more on screaming at the sidelines of the other team, standing up so the lady behind them couldnt see, and throwing up their sun devil signs when ASU did something amazing. The game started off really bad for ASU. Five minutes into the first quarter Oregon State had already made 2 touchdowns. But ASU was not going to give up. They ended up winning 44-32.

Friday Night Lights
My Brother Kyle(#51) is the starting center on Westwood High School's football team. If you put Kyle and I next to each other you would never guess we were from the same family. Me being 5'2 1/2''(I have to put the 1/2 in there it makes me sound taller, I know I know but short people tend to do that) and 108 pounds at age 20(almost 21) and him being 6'2'' and 225 pounds at age 17(almost 18).I try really hard to be a supportive sister so instead of just going to home games, Zach and I went with my parents to South Mountain High School for Westwood's away game tonight. IT WAS HOT!!!Westwood had its troubling moments but luckily so did South Mountain. We were a little worried going to this game because South Mountain has scored 120 points in their last 2 games combined. After a few stressful moments or should I say Quarters,Westwood ended up Victorious! Im so proud of my siblings and all their accomplishments. Im so thankful for them and for the closeness we share. Im just hoping I can make some of Weston's football games so he doesnt think I dont love him.

The Lord of the Rings Marathon
All 12 hours of it! All of you knowing it was Labor Day today, Zach suggested since we didn't have school we should have a Lord Of the Rings(extend version) Marathon. He has been wanting to watch these movies for quite sometime now so I agreed. We were over at Mom and Dad Vance's house yesterday for Sunday dinner and began talking about our marathon plans. They were happy to join in on the plans. They also invited Zach's cousins Sean and Sam. So this morning we drove over to their house and began watching. It was a little harder for me than I thought it would be to sit there and watch. I really like the series but 12 hours worth took a big toll on me. By the last movie I was beginning to become restless and than I thought I was going crazy. The day consisted of a lot of eating, a lot of laughing and a lot of movie watching. It was really fun to be together.Mom Vance and I decided since we had a Lord of the Rings marathon our next marathon needed to be Pride and Prejudice. But need I remind you that series is only 5 hours long. We could watch it 2 times and then another movie after in the time we watched this series. The boys weren't gung ho about our suggestion. Oh well! You will have to check out my in-laws blog for pictures!
