Rapunzel

Doesnt this name seem so fitting? I was looking at my cousin Jami's blog and I just had to steal a picture and put it on my blog. This is Grace, or better know as Rapunzel by me.I try and give Grace positive energy and its so working huh? Ha ha. Cant you see all those hairs? I just love this baby... and this baby loves me! She even reached for me from her mother( which this is absolutely unheard of because she loves her mother the most and doesnt like to be taken from her)

P.s: We like her naked the best.

Are you serious?

About a week ago Zach and I killed these...

 

That was just half of them. I think they are hiding by our doors just waiting for us to open them. GROSS! I swear for 30 minutes Zach and I killed flies in our house. Zach left the door open for 10 minutes(which really mean 15, maybe 20, thats his story not mine) for Zoey to go potty and this is what happened. You can just call us Super fly swatter and Fly killer woman. Although I am way better at it than Zach. Yes, I know its a talent to brag about. I will tell you though we got creative on how we killed them and then told each other later. Yeah, were dorks. Whatever.

**The fly problem is gone now. We know not to leave the door open any more. The flies are afraid of what might happen to them.

I LOVE my girls!

I truly am so lucky to have such GREAT friends! We were all able to get together for dinner and I had a blast. We having been talking about getting together for months but someone was always out of town or had something going on. But somehow the stars all aligned and we were all able to go to dinner. Erica suggested that we go to Krazy sub for "the good old days." Tracy, Brittany, Jill, Erica, Bethany and I
(missing Melanie cause shes out serving the Lord and preaching the gospel, and Sally cause shes off having a ball in New York for the summer) chatted up a storm and caught up on all the gossip( I know, I know, but thats what girlfriends do, dont they?) When we get together we have the funnest times. Im sure the workers at Krazy sub were like " get out, for heavens sake!" I truly feel so blessed to know these girls. They are such great friends and even when we go months without seeing each other, we can all get together and talk like we just saw each other yesterday. I love my girls and I am so thankful for them.

Queen Helene Mint Julep Mask

I love this stuff. I have had a few very stressful months and so when I get stressed I get stress zits. Big ones, underneath the skin kind that wont pop and hurt super bad. When I was in my modeling school my image coach Jose'( yeah he was flamming) told us about this stuff. So being the obedient student I went out and bought it and loved it. Well I ran out and didnt think about it since. So a month or so ago I remembered about my Queen Helene addiction and went out and bought it at Walgreens.I paid $3.49!! WAY cheaper than Proactiv. I can just picture Jessica Simpson in my head right now..." just a little dab, thats all it takes." I should be the spokesperson for Queen Helene!Anyway, I use it every night before bed and its really help. Buy it, Love it!

Watermelon Conversation

On Monday I bought this wonderful(huge)watermelon from Costco. I brought it home, cut it up and Zach and I have been snacking on it ever since. While sharing a few pieces of watermelon with me a couple of days ago I noticed Zach spitting out the seeds. I forgot to mention the watermelon I bought was SEEDLESS. The conversation went a little something like this.

W: are you spitting out seeds?
Z: Yeah
W: honey did you know the WHITE seeds are not bad for you?
Z: yeah
(Conversation ends)

*Conversation continues today:
Z: I still cant bring myself to eat the seeds
W: they ARENT bad for you
Z: Well I dont want them getting in my stomach and then watermelons start to grow.
W: Oh for heavens sake... ramble ramble ramble about how NO one warned me how weird he truly is before we got married. The WHOLE Vance family totally put on this front that you were so normal and blah blah blah.
Z:(Silence) He was very into whatever he was doing.

You learn something everyday. I have been married to this man for almost 2 years and never knew he was afraid to eat the white seeds from the watermelon.
