Miss P goes to Disneyland

"P" here, ready to proclaim that " I love Disneyland!" I was such a good baby and I loved being at the happiest place on earth. The trip was fantastic and we had such a good time. Thanks to Grandpa and Mimi for letting us come!

This is me driving to California on Monday. I was fairly good on the way there. Something about being stuck in my carseat for 6 hours didnt really sit well with me. So I let out a few screams on the way just to make sure my mom understood.
Mom was so exhausted by the time we got there we stayed back at the hotel and ate dinner with Mimi. We needed to get all rested for the next day where we partied the day away with Mickey.

Here we are walking through Downtown Disney. We were able to stay at the Disneyland hotel so we were right in the middle of all the fun.

Now the real fun begins... BREAKFAST!! We headed over to tomorrow land to get some YUMMY French toast sticks so moms belly would stop growling. These days shes starving all the time. And look at my headband! Huge I know, but so cute!! Grandpa didnt like it, he kept looking at me and saying "Ridiculous" and Mimi kept taking it off, but mom kept putting it back on. I was really good this day except when I exploded poop all over myself while Mimi was watching me outside of Indiana Jones. We had to go back to the hotel and clean me off. hey, a girls gotta do what a girls gotta do. For some reason my mom was shocked because I exploded poop the day before and I dont explode poop THAT often.

DAY 2: I was so exhausted from day 1 I left the hotel asleep. Daddy was alittle sad because he wanted to take pictures with all the characters but I was zonked out. They took pictures anyway while we ate at the Plaza with Minnie and friends.

Excuse me looking like a homeless child in the below pictures. Guess what I did.... yep I pooped all over myself! It wasnt as bad as yesterday so mom had extra clothes in her bag. Dad said we HAD to take a picture as a family... and yes Im sleeping again.

Whats Disneyland without my very own Mickey ears... or should I say princess ears. Dont worry Miss P is on the back. You know how we do.

Mom got crazy and went on the teacups with Uncle Ky, Uncle Westie and Aunt Katie. They were by far the fastest turning teacup!

Here I am.... BACK IN MY CARSEAT!!!! Good thing mom sat in the back with me or I would have been pretty upset. This is my " are you kidding me" face.

I cant wait for my next Disney trip! Nana and Grandpa... Im waiting.

Miss P's 2 month stats

Where did my tiny baby go? Shes getting so big! We went to the doctor today for Presleys 2 month appointment where they preceded to stab my poor little girl with 3 needles and made her drink nasty Rotavirus disgustingness. This process was just as hard for me as it was for her. I have had anxiety for weeks knowing this horrible doctors visit was coming up. Truly I woke up like 5 times last night over it. She did so good. It was so traumatizing that literally 3 minutes after she was passed out in her carseat and has been asleep ever since( 3 hours ago). She is a happy, healthy baby. The doctor kept saying she might start "blank" in a couple of weeks so dont be alarmed and I kept saying " yeah she already does that", which was followed by his response, " oh wow, well... (shocked face)." Here are a few things miss P has been up to:

1. rolled over once...
2. holding her head up so good
3. Stands up so strong... shes my payback, I started walking at 5.5 months
4. weighs 11 lbs 1 ounce
5. 22.5 inches long
6. smiles like crazy
7. KNOWS her mama
8. BUT loves her Daddy more. =) (Zachs addition)
9. Sleeps Amazingly (9-7)
10. Makes her mama and daddy so Happy!

Shes all Smiles

I am loving Presley these days. Well I loved her before but she smiles now! It makes me heart just melt. All those goofy faces are finally paying off.

And this is the face she gives us when she thinks we are ridiculous. I can just read her mind, " this guy has completely lost it, how did I get stuck with him?"

Sorry my photography skills are pitiful. Im going to take a class in the fall.

Disney here we come... well in 12 days.

I am truly peeing my pants with excitement over here. Who would have ever thought at 22 I would still be as excited to go to Disneyland when I was 10? Disneyland is like heaven to me. When I enter those pearly white gates something magical comes over me. I see lots of people I know and love like this guy and all his friends.

So, In honor of this handsome fellow... The Deering fam will be rendezvousing one last time together at Disneyland before he checks into the MTC on June 24th and becomes a missionary to the people of Guatemala. It will be Miss P's first trip and although she will not remember it I am still SO excited to take her. We start them young in the Deering Family. Im also really excited to take advantage of the baby buddy pass. Hopefully this trip will be as fun as I am imagining it. The countdown has begun!

And so it has begun...

I don't know if any of you are like this guy but I AM. I have blood as sweet as candy and mosquitoes LOVE IT! I woke up this morning with 2 mosquito bites the size of pecans. Seriously? I mean, really? At least they were on my arm and not my face. Which wouldn't be the first time a mosquito decided to suck the blood out of my face instead of another body part. Yeah try going to high school with a HUMONGOUS mosquito bite right under your eye and having people ask you if you got in a fight. I know, right? And so it has begun, summer. Mosquito season. And if I die of West Nile, I love you, you are all my friends. Am I being to dramatic? Nah...

6 weeks

I cant even believe my baby is already 6 weeks old! Here are just a few things we have accomplished in the last couple of weeks.

Miss P is:

1. starting to like her baths, which means she isnt screaming anymore.

2. sleeping amazingly... for instance she slept from 11:30- 7:30 last night, woke up to eat and is sleeping again.

3. Smiling at her mama and daddy.

4. 10 lbs 11 ounces.

5. 22.5 inches long

6. Super cute

7. Still doesnt like to get clothes put on her but isnt screaming throughout the process anymore.

8. Still exploding poop like no ones business. ( I think she does it on purpose. She thinks its funny)

Time has really flown by. I love this little girl.
