Whitney's back porch

So I was taking Zoey out to go to the bathroom before bed and look what I found....

I about died!!! This is a back porch not a zoo. Look at that Spider! Hello! Moral of the story... always turn on the back porch lights before going outside, never walk barefoot AND time to call Bulwark.

Elder Kyle Gustave Deering

My younger Brother Kyle leaves tomorrow on his mission. Ive been fighting back tears for the last couple days. I kept thinking that this was the last time Kyle would do (blank) before he leaves. For the last couple of weeks I have been catching up on the hugs I wont get for 2 years or the zerberts he wont get on his birthday from me. And as I sit here and sob while writing this post I know he is going to be a fantastic missionary. As much as I will miss him I know he is going and doing the things he is supposed to. Kyle and I have always been close. We have had our moments, but what siblings havent? I have watched him grow and learn these last couple of months and I am so grateful for him. The people of Guatemala are so lucky!! I know he will be a friend to all those he comes in contact with. He is so loving, kind, gentle, compassionate, spiritual, determined and funny. Im sure we will get many letters requesting that we send shoes or clothes because he has given all of his stuff away to those less fortunate.

I love you Kyle and I am so proud of you. Be the Best Missionary you can be. Be safe and turn the Lord in times of need. Thank you for being such a wonderful example to us and for motivating us to be better people. You are amazing and we will all miss you tremendously. See you soon brother.

Nighttime adventures of Zachy Poo

A couple of months after Zach and I were married Zach started sleep talking which led to sleep walking and now hardly a day goes by that Zach isn't saying something in his sleep. This "adventure" all started with me telling Zach I was too tired to cuddle(I'm not a big fan of cuddling at night anyway) and eventually Zach falling asleep. As I was finally starting to whined down Zach got up from our bed walked around to my side, pushed me over, laid down, pulled my arm over him and put his arm down holding mine in place. I, thinking he was joking tried pulling my arm out from under his. As I would pull, Zach would clench his arm down on mine. At this point I was a little frustrated and proceeded 2 or 3 times more. Each time Zach would do the same thing. I then realized he was asleep. I began to laugh and finally freed my arm from his hold and rolled over to his side. The next morning Zach was a little confused as to why I was on his side and he was on mine. He didn't remember the event at all.

I am peacefully sleeping one night when all of a sudden I am woken by a punch in the face. My sweet husband has now punched me in the face. And then quickly starts FULL ON making out with the side of my face. Truly I was dieing. Did Zach remember this happening? Heavens no.

Sleeping yet again, facing Zach's side when all of a sudden Zach turns to me and asks me where his glove is. Confused, I ask what hes talking about. Zach now frustrated because I am asking silly questions asks one more time, louder, " Whit, where is my glove?" and before I could even respond he turns over and replys " Fine. We will find it in the morning!" Oh will we? weirdo.

Tonight. I'm reading a book and Zach has fallen asleep. Ive decided I'm tired and as I turn my light off Zach tells me this is not my house and Seconds later is waving hello to his closet. It doesn't even faze me anymore UNTIL... he grabs his pillow puts it on his chest and begins patting it like he is burping a baby. Can you tell what he was doing right before bed? At this point I'm giggling. THEN, he starts to tuck his pillow in... still holding it on his chest. Now I'm laughing trying not to be loud. He then brings him and his pillow over to my side where he starts spooning with me. Really? Really? My body is shaking as I'm trying to hold in my laughter. Now, I'm totally awake and writing this post as my husband is laying on my side... Alone.

These are just a FEW of the funniest adventures of Zachy Poo. I'm sure I have more exciting nights with this man. Don't worry, Ill share.

Look at that Face...

Um hello, cutest baby lives at my house! It 10:15 p.m and Miss P has been asleep for an hour. She is sleeping so good at night. 9-9 I cant complain. But she is having such a hard time taking naps during the day. She is such a good girl during the day and I know and can tell she is so stinking tired!! She takes little cat naps which are Not sufficient for her little girl needs. Any suggestions? Other than that she is a doll! I just love this little girl more than anything in the whole world! We are blessing her this Sunday... I know you are all thinking, um hello shes like 3 months old Whitney. Well, My brother Kyle is off to Guatemala in 3 weeks and he will be talking in church next Sunday so all of my family from Utah will be in town... but we were surprised... Liza and Scott and their kids are driving down for the blessing and other fun activites, Mary is coming with Andrew and now its going to be a Party. The only ones we will be missing is Annie, Drew and their munchkins. You will be missed! I cant believe its been almost 3 months since little Miss P was inside me. Im so glad she is out. I cant tell you how much better it is! Im sure all you moms just raised your hands to the roof and shouted "oooo-OOO". Im having flashes of "Baby Mama" running through my head. If you have not seen that movie... you must! Its hysterical.
P.s Zach taught her how to drool... I know she doesnt get that from me.Ha ha.

Pied Piper

Okay, so I love this photographer and shes holding a contest. I need to win, we need pictures as a family with sweet little Miss P. Check out her blog. http://piedpiperphoto.blogspot.com/

Miss P goes to Disneyland

"P" here, ready to proclaim that " I love Disneyland!" I was such a good baby and I loved being at the happiest place on earth. The trip was fantastic and we had such a good time. Thanks to Grandpa and Mimi for letting us come!

This is me driving to California on Monday. I was fairly good on the way there. Something about being stuck in my carseat for 6 hours didnt really sit well with me. So I let out a few screams on the way just to make sure my mom understood.
Mom was so exhausted by the time we got there we stayed back at the hotel and ate dinner with Mimi. We needed to get all rested for the next day where we partied the day away with Mickey.

Here we are walking through Downtown Disney. We were able to stay at the Disneyland hotel so we were right in the middle of all the fun.

Arent I cute? I mean look at that face... it screams excitement, right?

Uncle Kyle looking sexy. I think GQ is calling on the phone right now.
Now the real fun begins... BREAKFAST!! We headed over to tomorrow land to get some YUMMY French toast sticks so moms belly would stop growling. These days shes starving all the time. And look at my headband! Huge I know, but so cute!! Grandpa didnt like it, he kept looking at me and saying "Ridiculous" and Mimi kept taking it off, but mom kept putting it back on. I was really good this day except when I exploded poop all over myself while Mimi was watching me outside of Indiana Jones. We had to go back to the hotel and clean me off. hey, a girls gotta do what a girls gotta do. For some reason my mom was shocked because I exploded poop the day before and I dont explode poop THAT often.

DAY 2: I was so exhausted from day 1 I left the hotel asleep. Daddy was alittle sad because he wanted to take pictures with all the characters but I was zonked out. They took pictures anyway while we ate at the Plaza with Minnie and friends.

Excuse me looking like a homeless child in the below pictures. Guess what I did.... yep I pooped all over myself! It wasnt as bad as yesterday so mom had extra clothes in her bag. Dad said we HAD to take a picture as a family... and yes Im sleeping again.
Whats Disneyland without my very own Mickey ears... or should I say princess ears. Dont worry Miss P is on the back. You know how we do.

Mom got crazy and went on the teacups with Uncle Ky, Uncle Westie and Aunt Katie. They were by far the fastest turning teacup!

Here I am.... BACK IN MY CARSEAT!!!! Good thing mom sat in the back with me or I would have been pretty upset. This is my " are you kidding me" face.

I cant wait for my next Disney trip! Nana and Grandpa... Im waiting.
